High school is one of the most exciting times of a student’s life - filled with endless possibilities. Our high school program focuses on future-readiness and helps students put their best foot forward for the next stage of their life. We help students think about who they are, who they want to become, and map the best way to get there. Our high school program offers courses with global relevance and connections across academic disciplines.
In high school, students develop a confident writing voice, build diverse future-ready skills, immerse
in authentic community service, interact with the real world, and chart their personal growth.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is an academically challenging and balanced two-year curriculum for 16 to 19-year-olds, adopted by schools in 140 countries. It promotes intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship. It is a widely recognized qualification by top universities worldwide and gives an edge to students for university admission.

IB Diploma students study subjects spanning a variety of areas, including at least two languages, traditional academic disciplines such as Mathematics, Experimental Sciences, Individuals & Societies and the Arts. The programme also includes three additional core areas: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and Extended Essay (EE). Students undertake 6 optional subjects and 3 core areas to form a personalised course suited to their interests and future aspirations.
Our IBDP students consistently achieve outstanding results surpassing global averages. In our class of 2026, three students scored 40 points and above, and fourteen students scored 35 points and above. 56 students were awarded the prestigious IB Diploma. An average of 40% of students scored 6 (84-94%) or 7 (95-97%) across Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Business Management, Visual Arts and Hindi.
Shape your child's future with the world-renowned IBDP at AIS.
Admissions committees value students with independent thinking, curiosity, and a commitment to learning. At AIS, students build leadership skills while brainstorming practical solutions to real world problems through the Harvard Young Entrepreneurship Program. Through our Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Internal Assessments (IA), and Extended Essay (EE) workshops and capstone projects, students hone essential critical thinking, analytical thinking and research skills.
Colleges value the quality and impact of community service over quantity. Our students engage in authentic projects with rural schools, local colleges, and other organizations. Our CAS Workshop provides students with opportunities to challenge themselves, learn skills like collaboration, problem-solving, and social responsibility, and make a meaningful impact. This contributes to IBDP students' CAS requirement while developing leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Students can choose between visual arts and coding, robotics, & digital fabrication to build impressive extracurricular projects for their college applications. In visual arts, they explore painting, printmaking, sculpture, and digital art, showcasing their work at Kala, our annual art festival. In coding and robotics, students develop apps, AI games, and robots, featuring their innovations at our annual MakerFest.
